Happy Birthday Mom

Today is Grandma Rutherford's birthday. After church we took Grandma out to eat. I don't think Mom will care if I tell you she is 77 today. We think she looks pretty good for a Great Grandma. We praise the Lord that she made it through the winter with such good health. She is looking forward to spring and getting out in her yard and working on her flowers. Happy Birthday Grandma. We Love You!!

Of course I had to get Jacob, Joel and Eli in a picture with their great Grandma Rutherford. The boys like to go to Grandma's house and look at all her cows. She has quite a collection!!

Surprise Visit from "Uncle Marvin"

We had a surprise visit from my brother last week. He was on a businss trip for his company and he made a detour through West Virginia and paid us a visit. (Don't ask me how West Virginia is on the way to Boston from Chattanooga, Tennessee, but when you are from West Virginia you will do anything to get home) We didn't have very long to visit, but we did get Colo's pizza (Marvin's favorite) and he got to see everyone here .(sorry, Kerri). He surprised Mom, she had no idea he was coming. I told her not to go anywhere on Saturday, because she was getting a visitor, but I didn't tell her who. She was totally surprised and didn't even think it might be Marvin. Marvin made it safely to Boston and back to Chattanooga. (a very long trip)

New Addition to the Family

Thanks to Jacob, Joel and Eli, I now have my very own Webkinz. (I think they got me one because I had fun playing with theirs). They surprised me with this cute little cat ( I named her Ali) at Joel's basketball game on Saturday. The boys have always wanted me to have a cat at my house and now I do!! I think Ali is going to have fun playing with Cody, Morris and Snoopy. THANKS GUYS!! I LOVE YOU

Here we have a little clowning around before the game. Jacob and Joel's teams are participating in March Madness. (A lot of fun and a lot of games) Jacob had 2 games on Saturday (one win and one loss) and Joel had a game (they lost by 2 points) Both boys had baskets and we had fun watching them.

These two (Eli and Snoopy) are Jacob and Joel's biggest fans. They never miss a game. They love to go to the games and cheer. (Just keep the snacks and drinks coming!!)

Happy Birthday Stacie

Today is Stacie's birthday. I don't think I'm allowed to say how old she is, but she will graduate from WVU in May, (right on schedule) so maybe you can figure it out. Stacie won't officially be in our family until August, but I think it's ok if we claim her now. This has been a a busy semester with school, work and planning a wedding. Hang in there Stacie, the end of the semester is just around the corner!! Happy Birthday, we love you. (Now whenever the boys see "Uncle Jeff, their first words are "Where's Stacie!!)

Slow News Week

This has been a slow week for news. About the only thing going on is our water crisis. We have been under a boil water advisory all week and there has been no school. I keep telling Jacob he is going to be stuck in the 3rd grade. He doesn't want to hear that he is going to be going to school this summer if they don't get something done. The last I heard they were going to try to have school tomorrow. Kerri sent me this new picture of Aaron and Danny. She weighed Aaron today and he weighed 14 pounds. I don't know if I can wait until Easter to see him or not. He is changing so much!! I think he is missing me in this picture and that is why he looks so serious. Danny is thinking about coming to WV on spring break and that is why he looks so happy!!

Now for some basketball pictures. Joel is showing us his form here.

Eli making a very graceful shot.
And last but not least, Jacob's famous slam-dunk.
