Jeff's Birthday Party

We finally had Jeff's birthday dinner. I made chicken parmesan and this beautiful cookie cake. (I don't think Joyce needs to worry that I am going to take over baking cakes anytime soon!)
Stacie was more than happy to give her "hubby" a big birthday hug.
I tried to get a picture of the all the "boys" at the party, but they were in such a silly mood it was impossible to get a good picture.

Happy Birthday Jeff

Yesterday was Jeff's birthday!! I'm not saying how old he is, but next year will be a very big birthday for him. This picture was taken when Jeff was cooking a spaghetti dinner for his church. We are having him a "party" on Monday evening. (Stacie was taking him out last night). Jeff has had a busy year, getting married and working on their new house. He is remodeling the upstairs bathroom now. (I hate to tell him, but when you own a house you never get done) Happy Birthday Jeff. We love you!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AARON

Saturday was Aaron's First Birthday and we traveled to Virginia for the big celebration. Aaron loved his birthday cake. He took one bite of the icing and that was all he needed. He was on a sugar high the rest of the evening. I was so glad we got to be there. The weather was nice for travel and the only bad thing was it was such a short trip. We had Aaron so confused. He was asleep when we got there on Friday evening. Saturday morning when I came out of Danny's room, the look on Aaron's face was priceless. He just couldn't figure out how we got there.

While we were trying to get a picture of everyone, Aaron decided he had waited long enough for his cake.
I think the mower was a good purchase. Aaron pushed it around the whole time we were there. This child is in perpetual motion. He never stops. It makes a lot of noise and he loves that!!

Happy New Year

Papaw and Mamaw hosted their annual New Year's Eve party. (for Jacob, Joel and Eli) The menu was chicken fingers, pizza and chips. I took this picture right at midnight. They all managed to stay awake to watch the ball drop. I wasn't sure Eli was going to make it, but he did this year. Then they got their second wind and it was almost 1:00 before we finally got to bed. Needless to say, I needed a nap on New Year's day. We had our "Breakfast Buffet" on New Year's. I think that is almost our favorite meal of the holiday's. We watched football games and the boys played Wii. I hope everyone has a "Blessed New Year". Allen and I are going on the road today. Tomorrow is Aaron's first birthday and we are going to Virginia to celebrate. It will be a quick trip, but well worth it. I will have pictures when we get back.

Jeff and Stacie watching the Tennessee game. Jeff got out his Tennessee mascot and we listened to "Rocky Top" during the game. (several times!!)
