Happy Birthday Eli!!

Today is Eli's 6th birthday. You very seldom see Eli without a smile on his face. He is doing very well in kindergarten (you should hear him read now). He would be just as happy to stay home with his Mom. He is excited about the new baby coming in June. Happy Birthday Eli, Mamaw and Papaw love you!!We call Eli our little "chick magnet". Everywhere we go, the girls come running to see him. Big girls, little girls, it doesn't matter. They all love his smile.

He's even cuter with his tooth missing!!

Happy Birthday Brian

Ok, I'm only a week late, but Brian had a big Birthday last week. He turned the big 40.
With all the moving and settling in, we haven't had him a big party yet, but we hope to sometime in the future. (For those of you who are wondering, yes he is older than Kerri, No way am I old enough to have a child that age!!). One of Brian's birthday presents was the Steeler's win in the Super Bowl. Happy belated Birthday Brian!!

Brian relaxing in his "favorite chair".

Brian with his favorite shirt. We expect to see it a lot this summer!!

Kelli and I took her boys and went up a visted last Saturday. It is so nice to be able to go up in an hour, stay awhile and then come home. (Kerri probably likes the fact that we don't have to stay the night). We had a good time. Aaron calls the house "Danny's house". He showed us his room and the lovely bathroom. (Kerri loves the big flowered wall paper in the bathroom!!). Aaron cried when we left, then later in the evening he wanted to go to Eli's house. We should be seeing a lot more of him now that he is closer!!

Lets' Goooooooooo Steelers!!

Here are some of my "boys" decked out in their Steeler garb and patiently waiting for the Super Bowl. Jacob, Joel, Eli and Aaron spent the night Saturday and there were a lot of "Let's go Steelers" going on at my house. The Thumm's got moved this week so Allen and I went up on Saturday and got Aaron so Kerri could get some unpacking done with at Aaron "helping". It took us an hour and 5 minutes from our driveway to theirs. Count it - One hour and 5 minutes (instead of 8 hours). Aaron spent Saturday night (his first night away from his Mom.) He did fine. He just had one little melt down on Saturday afternoon where he went to the door and wanted his Mom, but other than that we kept him busy and he had a good time. Papaw took Jacob and Joel to a basketball game and Eli and Aaron stayed with me and watched movies. (I was ready for bed long before they were!!) Everyone came over today for dinner and then they all went home to watch the game. My house is quiet now, so I may take a nap and get ready for the game. I hope we are all as excited in the morning as we are now!!

Thought you might want a quick peek at Kerri's house. It's cute and Kerri has a lot of ideas for decorating. She's not that far away now, so all of you need to head up to Cannonsburg, PA and pay her a visit. (after she gets all the boxes unpacked)

Let's GO STEELERS!!
