Eli's Kindergarten Graduation

Last night Eli graduated from Morgantown Christian Academy's Kindergarten. The class put on a program and did a wonderful job. Eli had a very good year. He is reading now and won first place in the Spelling Bee and 2nd place in Bible. He also won the Christian Character award for his class. Joel won in his class so Papaw and Mamaw certainly had a lot to be proud of last night. Eli is done with school now, but Jacob and Joel still have 3 weeks left. Eli doesn't mind reminding them of that. Eli's class performed the play - Stone Soup. It was so cute. Eli was the stranger that came into town and made the soup. It's hard to believe this school year is over and Eli will be in the first grade next year

Here is Eli in costume for the play.
More pictures of the play.

Aaron and Kerri came down for the program. Aaron was really impressed with Eli's graduation outfit.

Kerri's new hair cut. It is so nice that the Thumm's are so close now. They get to come to all the family activities and we can run up and get Aaron. I do not miss the 8 hour trip to Virginia at all!!

Eli, Silas and Lauren right before the program. They were not in the least bit nervous. Eli looked a little scared when the program first started (there were a lot of people there), but he soon got over his stage fright and I think by the end he was really having a good time.

Jacob was there supporting his brothers. It doesn't seem that long ago he was graduating from Kindergarten.

They gave out elementary school awards too. Joel won several awards including the softball throw, the long jump and the 50 yard dash. Joel loves to compete!!

I have to get pictures of Joel when I can. He has become camera shy lately.

The class with their teacher Mrs. Hinebaugh - Lauren, Ashley, Gracie, Silas and Eli.
Kelli is hanging in there with 5 weeks to go. (no pictures, she threatened me with loss of grandchildren priviliges if I did). She is feeling good, but getting to that last very uncomfortable stage. Her belly is sticking out pretty good. We'll keep everyone posted!!

Tell Eli congratulations from the Trout's. I know I say this every time, but the boys are growing up so much - Jacob especially.
