We have Company!!

Kerri, Aaron and Danny came on Thursday to hang out for a few days. Aaron loves baseball as much as the rest of the kids and could usually be found with a ball in his hand. (Be sure to check out his "batman" shoes. Kerri hates them and Aaron won't take them off . Sorry Micah, I looked but they didn't have them in your size. Everytime I see these shoes, I think of you in your batman cape). We have had a good time. Aaron has had a ball playing with his cousins. We had a cook-out on Saturday and Allen fixed his bear meat. I forgot to take a picture of it. It tasted a lot like roast beef. He cooked it in (are you ready for this) - wine. I was afraid it would taste really strong, but it didn't. It just felt funny when you thought about the fact that you were eating a bear.
I have a hard time getting a good picture of Danny. He hides from the camera. Jacob, Joel and Eli love it when he comes in because he can talk baseball with them all day. He knows where to go on the internet and find funny baseball videos.

We had a backyard (in our case, front yard) baseball game and this big kid got to play.

I just had to get this picture of Joel, because it is not very often you can get a picture of him just sitting!!
Jacob took his money and bought himself a "track phone". He gave us all his number, but told us not to call because he didn't want to use up all his minutes. (Texting only uses .3 of a minute, but I'm not sure I can do much texting). He and Danny texted each other all day. I just can't believe how grown up Jacob is getting. When he was out on the baseball field in his uniform, I could hardly stand it. It seems like yesterday he was the size of Aaron.
Aaron put this batting helmet on and wore it most of the day. The thing weighed a ton, but he didn't want to take it off. I guess he wanted to be ready if they needed him at bat. Kerri took a cute video of him batting, but when I tried to watch it, I deleted it by mistake. (That's how good I am with all the electronic gadgets)
Eli in the "front yard brawl". Eli kept Aaron occupied a lot of the time. Aaron loved to be chased by him. Kerri is leaving tomorrow morning. The contractor is working on her house and they say it will be done by July 8. Let's hope so!!

That looks like fun! I'm glad you like my pictures, and I also really appreciate the prayers of you and your family! Stay tuned for some upcoming pictures of the cherry pie that Bryon and I attempted to make yesterday evening! :o)

I think Aaron's shoes are cute. Little kids can pull off the crocs but I'm not real sure about adults! Jacob does look so much older.
