Sleepover at Mamaw's Bed and Breakfast

Saturday night Jacob, Joel and Eli stayed all night with Papaw and Mamaw while there Mom and Dad went to a dinner. Here we are eating breakfast. Eli said to be sure and get the bacon in the picture. We had pancakes and of course we always have bacon at Mamaw's. The cereal straws were a big hit. (who keeps coming up with these ideas.) The straws were made from Fruit Loops cereal, so when they start to get soggy you just eat them). We had a real good time. Papaw picked the boys up and took them for a ride in his new truck. Yes, old blue is retired and Papaw has a new (well new to him) white truck. I'll post a picture soon. This one has a back seat so we can get the boys and go places. We watched the "Bee Movie." It was pretty cute. Then we ate snacks and watched the big East Championship. It was a hard call, because we didn't like either team, but it was a good game and the boys love to watch basketball. (Don't tell their Mom and Dad, but they were up way past their bedtime). Their basketball season is over for this year. Jacob had a banquet yesterday and got his "letterman's" jacket. (picture coming later). Joel finished up his March Madness and now we are gearing up for baseball. All three boys will be playing this year, t-ball, c-ball and b-ball so if you want to find any of us, just wander over to Mary Lou Retton park and we will probably be there!!

The boys love playing on the laptop. We have to take turns and I am just amazed at how easy it is for them to use it. They have grown up with the computer being such a part of their life. They are constantly showing me how to do things I never would have figured out on my own.
This was taken one day when Eli got to stay with me all by himself. Of course, that meant he had the lap top all to himself. His favorite thing to do on the computer is take care of his Webkinz. He loves to go to the page where they show all the Webkinz and show me which ones he wants me to look for!!

Cheryl, Mary Lou Retton park is just a new name for the old Fairmont Little League Park. When Mary Lou got famous they changed the name. The park is over on the West Side of town. If you remember where Ruth Ann Fetty lived, it is right by her house. We spent a lot of time at that park when Jeff played Little League, now we are back again!!
