Baby Shower for Kerri

Allen and I made a "quick trip" to Virginia this week-end so I could go to a baby shower Kerri's friends had for her. By quick I mean we drove down (7 hours) on Saturday and came back on Sunday. It was well worth it. We had a good time with Kerri and Danny (Brian was in Pittsburgh with his Air Force Reserves).
The weather was beautiful for the drive (or for taking a nap, which I seem to do more and more in the car) and we had a great time at the shower. I got to meet a lot of Kerri's friends and yes that is a Tiara Kerri is wearing. She got to be "Queen for a day".






\ There was lots of good food and this beautiful cake. As you can see "It's a boy". (That's pretty much a given in the Farcin household.)

Can you guess who the "Boston Red Sox" bib is from. You guessed it! Big Brother Danny want's to make sure the baby gets off on the right foot. I see a lot of blue and red in this baby's future.

Donna and Monica were the hosts of our party. We had a lot of good food, fun and fellowhip!! I am so thankful Kerri has good friends that are so good to her. It's hard being 7 hours away, but it helps knowing she has such good friends. Thank you both having the shower. We are so appreciative.
